Sunday 11th Feb
Firstly, this keyboad is quite possibly the worst in the world, so excuse the spelling mistakes (not mine, honestly!)
Been on 5 busses and a ferry today!! Full day travelling, all 17 hours of it! Full body sweats all day, very hot and humid, especially without air con on the 1970s bus! All busses were cramped up with travellers, so mucu so on the main one, bags were on every bit of floor space and space at the back. We were all paranoid about our bags and very dodgy Cambodians. Boarder crossing was better than expected, only took one our instead of 5 like people say.
Very dodgy at the other side of the boarder, oh and theres a space of about 100 meters between the Thai and Cambodian territory which is packed with massive casinos! Povety is shockingly apparent and made me feel very lucky about my up bringing. Begging all the time, and sticking out like sore thumbs around dodgy people aint good!
Roads are just dust, and the air is filled with it, at one point you could only see about 1 foot all around the bus, though i was gunna die about 8 times on the road with other cars and maniac driving! Everything is caked in dust too, bad living conditions! The 7 hours to Seam Reap were much better value then Alton Towers, and seemed like the road was like cobbles except 10 times bigger and randomly placed in both height and placement!!
Beyond belief on of the Bristol Bagheads was on our my bus!! Annoyed the hell out of us, dont think i've ever despised some one as much!!
After a stop where beer was imminent, the bus was much better, we got some tunes on Blakeys speakers and loads of beers for the journey, as well as 2 Canadian birds having big bottle of Bacardi ![]()
Temples of Angkor Wat
Monday 12th
Saw the temples today, and they are stunning, i'll have to put some photos up when i can, but they were incredible. The main one being the largest religious building in the world, is 3600 years old and has amazin carvings in every bit of wall. Scorcher again today, think its just everyday that its blue skies and tannage weather, but i'll rub it in anyway ![]()
Went to a road called 'Pub Road ' in the night time. As the name suggests it is the best road ever! Watched the football at night (Birmingham i think) chatted to other travellers including a sweedish stripper
got hammered and played pool! Only 3 hours sleep to the boat tomorrow!
Laters
PS beers are 20p and food is 50p for quality dishes!
