Mui En
(15th Feb)

Mui En looked nice upon first entering with all the lights, banners, and big dragons ready for the new year over here. Quality how I get 2 new years, and this one lasts for 3 days!! Everywhere was fully booked however but we managed to grab the last room at this surfers place called 'Mellow'. The room only had one double bed though so we had to roll dice for who slept on the crappy airbed and get eaten for mosquitos!! As we've become costom to there were the complementary cockroackes in the bathroom, even though the room was pretty good apart from that!!

The beach here was amazing, stretching for as far as the eye can see in a cresent shape around us. The water was a little more choppy and muckier but beats Backpool any day!! All the kite surfers were looking pretty glum for the first few days that we were there, but once it picked up, the beach came alive with hundreds of windsurfers and kite surfers with long blond beach bum hair and the word 'duuuude' to be heard for miles around!! One of them that we met (Scatoor!) brought his chipped xbox round and we played that while watchin footy and drinking the obvious!

Were meant to get bikes out one of the days but they followed us for a while and cos Huss started to do dodgy things and it was mega busy because of new year they wouldnt let us! Still we went to the red and white sand dunes, a red rock canyon, a fishing village, and eventually ended up at a golf course Nick Faldo designed. In true pitch and putt fashion I turned up in a filthy top n stained shorts (from all the sand surfing and jumping down dunes) but it turned out to be luxurious with loads of posh gits staring! We could at least afford the driving range so with our personal driver and buggy we went to smack some balls and hit some birds surrounded by psalm trees! Was gunna get a kite surfing lesson (9 hours) but turns out its cheaper in OZ anyway.

Delat
(22nd Feb)

Delat wasn't what i'd expected, instead of this quite little mountain town, it was a thriving city which was pretty spectacular. Getting annoyed by all the cheesy euro dance songs they are playing out here eg; La Da HEEEEEE, etc, and Venga boys :S Beds we were in were ridden with fleas and we all woke up itching to buggery!! Huss got chased of loads of old grannies for trying to take a photo of them, was well funny.

Nah Trang and Hoi An
(24th-25th Feb)

Nah Trang was a quite sea side resort, but we managed to find a curry house and a loud pub, so dont worry! We didnt manage to find our way home though and after seeing 2 locals have a fight over a puppy (real life Bruce Lee movie!) we got a cyclo to take us (a push bike with a little carriage at the front, they push you in front of oncoming cars, before pulling away at the last minute)!

Fell on our feet (literally) after arriving in Hoi An after a night bus (7pm -6.30am) by getting an amazing hotel with pool, aircon, showers, room service for only $5 a night! Didn't sleep much on the bus, besides it was far too exciting watching the death defying bus overtake on a sheer cliff face, going at 90mph, going around a blind corner! Least we had loads of leg room and back seatage. Spent the rest of Feb chilling in this town and by the pool. Its noticably colder and even dared to rain once now we're up the grim northern area! Met this London geezer called Sam and his missus, Carline. Went for a few beers with them, and the real life version of Borat was there!! Looked exactly like him although Carline, lost her camera so i've no evidence of him! Bugger!!

Demiliterised zone and Hoian next then back to Thailand!
